With more senior positions in our field opening up, maybe you’ve just scored that promotion. But what happens when the excitement and pride wear off and your imposter syndrome takes over? Your assumptions of what your new colleagues will expect from you add pressure and stress to the experience. Is this really the reality?
Having faced this twice in the last couple of years, I’ll be speaking about the ways in which I managed:
- battling my insecurities
- gaining knowledge of a new product and processes
- demonstrating my value as a content designer/UX writer
At whatever stage you’re at in your content design or UX writing career, you’ll tackle many challenges in your self-development and mastery of the craft. Based on my own experiences, my talk aims to provide you with tips and tricks to overcome these.

Helen Frith is an Expert UX Writer at Qonto and has worked in content design for the past 10 years, in the UK and in France. She currently lives in sunny south-west France with her husband and ginger tabby cat.
